Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for client review
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Manage bank account reconciliations and transaction monitoring
- Collaborate with senior accountants on month-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Support audits with organized documentation and data
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 8am-4pm)
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems preferred
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, CPB) highly valued
