Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow efficiently
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for client reviews
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for multi-location clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Collaborate with tax accountants during quarterly/annual filings
- Train staff on financial software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Proven track record of managing multi-location accounts
- Familiarity with Oregon state tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
