Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process complex accounts payable/receivable cycles for multi-entity clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 15-50 employee clients
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online and Xero workflows
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit preparations and tax season
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven experience with multi-state sales tax compliance
- QuickBooks Online Advanced certification required
- Exceptional analytical skills with 100% reconciliation accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced client environment
