Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end close
- Prepare accurate financial statements and compliance reports for diverse industries
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Collaborate with auditors and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards
- Lead tax preparation and filing for corporate clients
- Maintain internal controls and implement financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sector
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VBA/advanced formulas), and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
