Responsibilities

  • Process semi-monthly payroll for over 200 employees accurately and on time using ADP.
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns and ensure compliance with FLSA regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Answer payroll-related inquiries from employees regarding pay stubs, tax forms, and deductions.
  • Review and audit timecards and leave requests to ensure proper authorization.
  • Coordinate with benefits providers to ensure accurate deduction and contribution calculations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Workday, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws, including FLSA.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff and management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
