Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions accurately, including cash handling, check deposits, and withdrawals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions with precision using the core banking system.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, loan applications, and routine account maintenance.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle credit/debit card transactions securely.
- Refer complex financial needs to branch managers or specialized loan officers.
- Ensure the branch lobby and teller areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or banking is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle large sums of cash accurately under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (10-key experience is a plus).
- Must be detail-oriented and adhere to strict regulatory compliance standards.
