Responsibilities
- Prepare individual and small business tax returns using industry-standard software
- Organize and verify client financial documentation for accuracy
- Assist senior associates with tax research and compliance documentation
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information
- Learn and apply federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Contribute to office efficiency through document management systems
- Participate in quarterly tax planning meetings
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Willingness to pursue Enrolled Agent or CPA certification
