Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 100+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks systems
- Verify timecards, calculate deductions, and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (KY, OH, TN)
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and year-end W-2 forms
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain confidential payroll records and audit trails
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Basic computer literacy and 10-key proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Willingness to obtain payroll certification (provided)
- Proactive problem-solving and time management skills
- Reliable transportation to our downtown Lexington office
