Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Lead SOX compliance audits and internal control improvements
- Develop and maintain GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Support tax preparation and regulatory filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong SOX compliance and audit experience
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in multi-state tax compliance (OH/GA focus)
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
