Responsibilities
- Review and analyze credit applications and financial documents to determine credit risk.
- Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients based on financial statements.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for approval or denial.
- Maintain and update customer credit files and databases accurately.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to resolve complex credit issues.
- Identify trends or irregularities in financial data to minimize risk exposure.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required (training provided).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
