Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank/credit card statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with payroll processing, tax documentation, and financial audits
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage digital bookkeeping systems and data integrity
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial analysis tasks
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 1-2 years bookkeeping experience or equivalent education with internship exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required)
- Strong understanding of double-entry accounting principles and GAAP
- Exceptional attention to detail with 10-key calculator accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
