Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure all data matches internal records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage and organize digital and physical financial documents and records.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and basic journal entries.
- Perform basic data entry and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is preferred but not required (we train the right candidates).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.
