Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local compliance reports.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a full-cycle accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and payroll processing.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
