Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify financial transactions with high accuracy.
- Process weekly payroll and expense reports for the weekend workforce.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and closing procedures.
- Maintain and update the general ledger for weekend-specific journal entries.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices promptly.
- Assist in internal and external audits as required by management.
- Provide support to the accounting team during peak closing periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or candidate is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
