Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Process and code invoices accurately, ensuring timely payment to vendors.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and basic financial reports.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial documentation.
- Support month-end close procedures and assist with payroll preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (training provided for the right candidate).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
