As an Entry-Level Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations. We are looking for someone eager to grow their skills in accounting software and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical financial records.
- Assist with payroll preparation and data entry for the team.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and vendors promptly.
- Generate basic financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (we provide on-the-job training).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software quickly.
