Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Perform monthly and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure all discrepancies are resolved immediately.
- Assist with payroll processing to guarantee employees are paid correctly and on time.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including adjusting entries and accruals.
- Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements, for management review.
- Assist with tax preparation support and filing requirements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be available to work in our Tampa office or remotely with reliable internet.
