Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Process payroll entries and assist with payroll processing for clients.
- Prepare and send monthly financial statements and reconciliation reports.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and financial audits.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
