Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Manage and update financial records in QuickBooks and Xero.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax filings.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Organize and file financial documentation.
- Assist the senior accounting team with special projects and audits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must be a resident of Florida (Remote).
