Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement internal controls
- Develop financial reports for executive decision-making and strategic planning
- Optimize accounting systems for efficiency and compliance with evolving regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-size firm background
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting for multi-state operations
