Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with payroll processing for small to medium-sized clients.
- Prepare and organize monthly financial reports and ledgers.
- Manage and organize digital and physical financial documentation.
- Perform basic tax preparation assistance under supervision.
- Assist in the onboarding of new clients and software implementation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debits, credits, ledgers).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas) is essential.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
