Responsibilities
- Financial Data Entry: Accurately input and process daily financial transactions into accounting software.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Accounts Management: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and processing payments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and filing systems.
- Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we value potential and willingness to learn.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is highly desirable but training will be provided.
