Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Process and record daily transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all records match financial statements.
- Data Entry: Maintain organized digital and physical files for client records, invoices, and receipts.
- Assist with Payroll: Support the payroll process by collecting time sheets and preparing necessary documentation.
- Reporting: Generate basic financial reports and assist in preparing month-end close procedures.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior accounting experience required. We value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is preferred) and computer literacy.
