Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and verify invoices, manage vendor payments, and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review monthly bank statements to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in updating and maintaining the general ledger accounts, ensuring data integrity.
- Financial Data Entry: Perform high-speed, accurate data entry for financial documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Reporting Support: Assist the finance team in preparing monthly financial statements and operational reports.
- Payroll Assistance: Aid in the accurate processing of payroll data and documentation under supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
- Experience: No prior bookkeeping experience is required. We are looking for fresh graduates or career changers.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (basic to intermediate formulas and formatting).
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail with the ability to spot errors and ensure compliance.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and vendors.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
