Responsibilities
- Perform Daily Bookkeeping Tasks: Assist with data entry and account reconciliation under the guidance of senior staff.
- Reconcile Bank Statements: Compare financial records to bank accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Process Invoices & Payments: Review, code, and process incoming invoices accurately and on time.
- Support Payroll: Assist in the preparation and organization of payroll documents and reports.
- Maintain Financial Records: Keep organized, up-to-date ledgers and financial logs.
- Assist with Month-End Close: Support the finance team with end-of-period reporting and filing tasks.
- Customer Service: Answer inquiries regarding invoices and account status from clients.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is essential.
