Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process complex accounts payable/receivable for 50+ vendors and clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage multi-state payroll processing and tax compliance
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and audit preparation
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with financial reporting experience
- Ability to manage confidential financial data with discretion
- Proficiency in accounting software implementation
