Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation
- Maintain organized digital financial records and filing systems
- Prepare basic financial reports including balance sheets and income statements
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding account inquiries
- Support month-end closing procedures under supervision
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in accounting preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data sorting)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn accounting software quickly (training provided)
- Organized approach to handling confidential financial data
