Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and tax documentation preparation
- Support payroll processing and employee expense tracking
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis projects
- Implement and maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting preferred
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial data
- Willingness to pursue professional certifications (CPA, QuickBooks ProAdvisor)
- Reliable transportation to our downtown Omaha office
