Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Process payroll and ensure tax filings are completed accurately.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to input financial data.
- Assist the accounting manager with month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Must be available to work in Oklahoma City, OK.
