Responsibilities
- Process and manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger and performing month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and organize financial documents, invoices, and receipts for filing.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Excel) to input and verify financial data.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist with payroll preparation.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable internet connection and computer access for remote tasks.
