Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients using QuickBooks and Xero.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices in a timely manner.
- Prepare and send monthly financial statements to clients.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audits as required.
- Perform data entry and ensure all financial data is error-free.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or general accounting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of transactions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
