Responsibilities
- Assist in daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Update and maintain the general ledger system with precision.
- Process invoices, track payments, and manage vendor relationships.
- Prepare basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and data summaries.
- Support the senior accounting team during month-end and year-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a knack for numbers and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
