Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices and manage expense reports with high attention to detail.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and monthly closing procedures.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas) is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and eager to learn new accounting software.
- Reliable internet access and a quiet workspace for remote/hybrid tasks.
