Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within Net 30 terms
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and P&L reports
- Assist with payroll processing using ADP or QuickBooks Payroll
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Support month-end closing procedures and audits
- Implement internal controls to safeguard financial data
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage confidential financial information
- Detail-oriented with 100% accuracy in data entry
- Basic knowledge of sales tax compliance (Texas Comptroller requirements)
