Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Process and verify transactions using QuickBooks Online software
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for client review
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and compliance filings
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Communicate with clients regarding account status and financial inquiries
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in data entry
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting internship experience preferred
- Proactive problem-solving approach with a client-service mindset
