Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Process payroll entries and manage expense reports for the team.
- Assist with tax preparation support and compliance documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- No prior accounting experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
