Responsibilities
Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing and vendor payments.Process payroll for small to mid-sized businesses on a bi-weekly basis.Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Manage and categorize business expenses accurately in accounting software.Assist with year-end tax preparation and filing support.Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documentation and records.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting.Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero is required.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas).Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously without supervision.Must be authorized to work in the United States.
