Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping operations and financial record maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Perform basic payroll support and data entry tasks.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks under supervision.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in month-end close processes.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Basic understanding of math and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn new software and adapt to changing processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
