Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and financial reporting
- Manage payroll processing for 50+ employees
- Prepare sales tax filings and vendor payments
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Implement new bookkeeping processes to improve efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and financial controls
- Strong attention to detail with 10-key calculator skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to obtain QuickBooks certification within 6 months
