The Role:
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You will manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring that our clients' books are up-to-date and accurate. If you thrive in a dynamic setting and have a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and send invoices, and track payments received.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform general ledger entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with basic payroll processing and tax document preparation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
