Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions within established deadlines
- Assist in month-end closing procedures including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and analysis
- Support audits by providing documentation and financial records
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial inquiries
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Strong numerical aptitude and error-spotting abilities
