Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness before posting to the general ledger.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with payables.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing inquiries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be reliable, organized, and possess a positive attitude.
