Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before processing payments.
- Enter vendor invoices into the accounting software system (QuickBooks/NetSuite) with high precision.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to answer questions regarding invoices and payment status.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents and records.
- Assist the finance team with month-end closing procedures and general accounting support tasks.
- Process check requests and electronic transfers according to established company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Basic understanding of arithmetic and financial concepts is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
