Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to assist in the preparation of financial reports, manage accounts, and ensure compliance with internal controls. This role offers a clear pathway for growth within the finance department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process with data verification and analysis.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation preparation.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with the senior finance team to improve financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- 0-2 years of professional experience in an accounting role (internships count).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
