Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and general ledger accounts.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment execution.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the annual audit process by gathering and organizing necessary documentation.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to track financial data.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing a CPA).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
