Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records and invoices.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and data analysis.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis for various departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
