Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and posting of daily, monthly, and year-end financial reports.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, and manage accounts payable/receivable workflows.
- Payroll Support: Aid in the preparation of payroll data and ensure timely distribution.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- General Ledger: Update and maintain the general ledger system and assist in month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
