Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and accurate data entry into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card transaction reviews.
- Prepare basic financial reports, expense reports, and trial balances for management.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings under supervision.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
