Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and invoice processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes under supervision.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings.
- Communicate with clients regarding account status and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of professional experience (internships are highly valued).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
