Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks to ensure timely processing.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements for review.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes with high attention to detail.
- Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings under supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a proactive attitude.
